We had a good day at Art Fayre yesterday, and the rain held off until the very end!
Artist Sigrun Schroeter and volunteer Gordon Campbell welcomed people to the Art Sales and Art Draw table.
Art Fayre relaxes everybody!
Bite Me Sandwich Shop & Deli kindly donated the hot, delicious coffee!
There were some nice prizes to be won (artist not included!)
Sigrun helps hang fresh prints made by Holly Kelleher, who was demonstrating her printmaking technique at the show yesterday.
Our artists and volunteers are what make Art Fayre great!
And the snacks are pretty darn good too! Here is artist Natalie Rowe tormenting artist Ronna Mogelon with a chocolate-covered cheesecake bite! (Photo by Margaret Caldbick)
That wraps up Art Fayre 2012! Many thanks to all who attended our show, and special thanks to those who bought art, thereby supporting the artists and our jewel of a museum! The Glengarry Pioneer Museum is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and we were pleased to be part of the festivities.
